How InnoAIforSR-PVDUni Teaches Students to Use AI Responsibly

At Pham Van Dong University, the InnoAIforSR-PVDUni project is changing how students use AI in research. Instead of banning AI or letting it replace thinking, the project trains students to use AI as a research assistant.

Students must still write:

  • Literature reviews
  • Research rationales
  • Methodology
  • Reference lists
  • Citations

But now they also must declare how AI was used — which tool, what prompt, and how they edited the output.

This approach protects academic integrity while letting students benefit from AI’s speed and power. It also prepares future teachers to guide their own students in ethical AI use.

InnoAIforSR-PVDUni is not teaching students to let AI think for them — it is teaching them how to think with AI.
